Hi all
As the subject reads I was asked by one of my employers (I am a contract trainer dealing with computer based software packages) if I know of anyone who may be interested in taking on a network admin job.
I only have sketchy details at the moment. However what I can piece together so far is the following.
The client is a state funded community centre dealing with families and some migrants.
The systems are all Windows based.
They do run a small training room where they do some training.
They have centres located in both northern and southern suburbs.
They are looking for someone to oversee their network as there previous sys admin guy died. Apparently he was a retired gentleman.
I doubt the work would be tooooooooooo technical probably just maintaining win95 peer to peer networks. resolving the odd software problem. They may have a couple of NT boxes (not sure though)
One thing they are looking for I think is someone who can go and fix a problem at the drop of a hat (ie on call)
I would do it myself if it didnt eat into what I am doing already, I much prefer the training arena :)
If this sounds like it might be up your alley then either drop us an email at
ozlink@writeme.com
or post to this forum
I can then pass you on more info or contact details on who to get intouch with.
PS: A professional work attitude would be required
:D :D
