I just pulled a new wu and checking what size it was found nothing but trash. Looking at the inp.2 file in wordpad it did not show any size. Also checked the pdb.2 same thing. Checked on two machines. Also looked at the other files and they seemed intact. Opened up a hex program and it shows nothing but 0's. Went ahead and moved it to a disk and downloaded a new one. This one checked okay. (Nother steenking 68, when will they end?) Anybody seen something like this before?

stanford appears to have had a hiccup. I got the same stuff on six machines over a 15min period. Said I'd completed like six billion super-loops. Just hung there and said "Check current work"
A few clears and 15 mins later, I'm back onboard.
Save it for Stephen- I panic'd and didn't think through saving it and nuked mine... Sorry!

Maybe this explains what happened to me..just got home and both t-birds were up (windows) and running fine, but neither had a client running...
Both machines were fine this morning and seems the clents just shutdown out of the blue..
Restarted (just the client) and all is fine..hmmm very strange..

From what I've read, and my own personal experience.. If your client is shutting down out of the blue, you've OCed your machine too much.
I had that problem on one PC. When I downclocked it a little bit, the problem went away.
Just checked my boxes. Everything's fine here.

I wondered if it might be Stanford end. (Or corrupted some how in transit.)

These never ran. I just looked at it in wordpad. If you look down at the bottom of the .2 file in word pad that is all what was in the files. But they still had the same file size as normal wus. May play around and run a copy on one machine just to see what happens.

Sorry, I should have made it clear that I was replying to viperdog.

Mine were very definitely corrupted when I ran them, Stilgar... Just said "Check current work" and hung there under Linux.
